Welcome to The Gist of Life!
For those who are new here – welcome! for those of you that have been around a while – hello, old friend!
I’m Kaylee. I was diagnosed with GIST, a rare type of sarcoma cancer when I was 26 years old. I am labeled high risk. At one point, I was told I’d never have babies and would have to be on chemo for life. At the time, I was just growing into being an adult. I was a young wife and a new homeowner, making all sorts of fun, future plans.
And then cancer smacked me right in the face.
I needed an outlet for all the feelings of fear, unknowns, & what ifs…
…so The Gist of Life was born.
I’m glad you’re here.
