Day 11 of my January challenge brought my favorite new thing; my passion planner!
From my post at the beginning of the month, {My favorite things}, planners are proven to be an essential part of my day. I live & breathe by my planner. I have been looking for the perfect planner for far too long – referenced in the linked, I have tried MANY. I use the calendar in my iphone for events & to keep up with both mine and Tony’s busy schedules, but when it comes to organizing my thoughts, I need a one stop shop to write down to-dos, events, blogging ideas, monthly goals, etc… && I found her; she’s beautiful.
I stumbled across the site www.passionplanner.com by chance. A friend of a friend had posted the link on facebook claiming she had found the best planner on the planet, and of course, being the planner crazed, OCD, to-do list making person I am, I was curious to check it out. I was blown away!
The creator of the passion planner is a college student. Yes, you read that correctly, a college student. She decided she couldn’t find the perfect planner/journal/inspiration, notebook so she was going to make her own. Her blog could be simplified in a couple words: inspiring, compassionate, motivated, etc.. She has this thing called life, figured out. I highly recommend giving her a follow, or at least to read her story; it’s fantastic.
Back to my new planner; it’s like Christmas morning all over again. Only instead of a tree & presents, I sit with my new planner, an array of colored pens and highlighters, and my iphone of events ready to be copied down. Some of the features I LOVE about this planner is that it is also a journal. There are pages to create life to-do lists, goals, and to record the steps on how you can achieve all that’s written. In addition to it’s work and personal to do lists & 30 minute increments of your daily schedule, it has monthly reflection pages. Monthly reflection pages ask you to think about what went well in your last month & what will go better in the next month. I am in love.
Check out the pictures below. & Just so we’re clear – I do not get paid or sponsor this website/cause, obviously. I’m just a plain old teacher, fighting cancer, who found the greatest creation for writers/reflections/daydreamers/goal setters/to-do list makers out there. Enjoy!
