Some happenings from the week:
Ace
Ace has been a completely different dog this week. He has taken a turn for the positive- concerning his grumpy, dog behaviors. He has made me laugh every day, has been well-behaved, and is just a little love bug. I’m looking forward to warmer weather next week to get out and go for a couple runs together. Which brings me to my next point…
Running
March’s goal is coming in hot. I have been active every day this week – walks, runs, and everything in between. Thursday I got cruising and kicked out two miles on the treadmill – & FELT GOOD. I wish I would have kept going, but Ace was getting into too many dust bunnies in our basement so my run was cut short. By Sunday it’s going to be mid 40’s around this place – Ace will love being my buddy outside. [I just need to stay away from bunny tracks.. his nose is problem].
A Life To-Do
Last night I had a my tattoo consult appointment. I was going to keep this a secret until I actually had THE TATTOO to display, but I am too excited! I can’t wait to show off the final product; it’s simple, meaningful, & means so much to me. I’m afraid I’m going to get addicted to this wonderful art & will want more, [sorry, Mom].
Another Life To-Do
Tony is traveling out of the country to a warmer climate for work in April, and guess what? I get to tag along! More info on this to come later – but I CAN’T WAIT to enjoy another mini vacation with him on a beach, drinking something fruity, with an ocean breeze wrapping around the two of us. I can hear the waves now….
Hobbies
Another exciting change is coming to my blog. I wanted to take the next steps of sharing my blog on facebook, with other family members and friends, and try to stretch my arms to reach those that may be going through a similar journey as myself. In a couple weeks y’all won’t even recognize this place – I can’t wait for you to see it!
Overall
It is amazing what a new attitude and outlook can do to a mood. This week had me smiling, relaxed, and feeling good. I am proud to say I have officially took a turn for the better -really- I have, and I have never felt better. My cousin posted a quote on instagram this week that really spoke to me. I was lying in bed with Tony, we read it together, and both agreed – the words were life changing:
I am ready for life. I am ready for tomorrow. I am ready for right now. I am going to make the most out of this life, one way or another.
xo – happy friday – enjoy the day!
